June HPDT Social Walk – Havering

If you’re looking for a friendly dog social walk in Essex and Hertfordshire, our monthly HPDT Social Walks bring together past and present clients for a relaxed group dog walk where dogs can enjoy the countryside while practising real-life skills like recall, engagement, and calm behaviour around other dogs.

Our next HPDT Social Walk will be on Sunday 21st June 2026 @ Havering.

We will meet outside Bower Hall, Havering Country Park, RM4 1QP @ 10:50 and start walking @ 11:00.

If you’re running late, I’ll share our live location in the WhatsApp group once we’ve set off.

If it’s forecast to be hot, we’ll start slightly earlier at 09:50, so please check back here on the Saturday.

There is limited parking at the hall, but plenty of parking around, so allow extra time to park up.

Strictly for HPDT Clients and their dog (past and present) who have completed our face-to-face Puppy and/or High School course.

This walk is not suitable for dogs with any reactive behaviour.

Code of Conduct

We aim to set the bar for Dog Walking Etiquette (read the full article here).

Please put your dog on a lead if:

• You see other dogs on lead (they may be anxious)
• Your dog is likely to approach or jump up at people (they might not want the attention 😊)
• There is any livestock or horse riders nearby
• Your dog is harassing another dog in the group

Please bring a short lead (no flexi leads please), poo bags, and plenty of treats. You want sexy “recall treats”, which I’ve highlighted in our shop. You can also read Using The Right Treat For The Right Job.
