Arden Grange Liver Paste

Arden Grange Liver Paste is an incredibly high-value, soft, squeezable reward that dogs absolutely love. Made with fresh liver and no artificial additives, it’s brilliant for recall training, rewarding engagement, administering medication, or using with enrichment toys to encourage calmness and settling.Clients often describe this stuff as “crack for dogs”, and honestly, they are not far wrong. If you have a dog who needs a little extra motivation, this works exceptionally well alongside my two main recall rewards: JR Chicken Pate and JR Salmon Stick.

Why I Recommend Arden Grange Liver Paste

  • Super high-value — incredibly motivating for most dogs
  • Perfect for recall — easy to deliver quickly during training
  • Great for medication — hides tablets easily
  • Ideal for enrichment — brilliant for calming licking activities
  • No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives
  • Suitable for cats & dogs — useful in multi-pet households

It pairs brilliantly with enrichment products like the LickiMat, Yoggie Pot, or Kong for calming sessions after walks, training, or exciting days.

Licking can help dogs relax, lower arousal levels, and self-soothe, which is why I regularly use products like this as part of calmness and enrichment routines.

How I Use It

Liver paste is extremely useful for:

  • Recall reinforcement — rapid, high-value rewards outdoors
  • Engagement on walks — rewarding check-ins and focus
  • Calming enrichment — smear onto toys for relaxation
  • Administering medication — ideal for fussy dogs
  • Training around distractions — excellent for difficult environments

My Experience

This is one of my favourite rewards for recall boosters and engagement work. Because it’s soft and easy to deliver, you can reinforce quickly without crumbs, fumbling for treats, or breaking momentum during training.

Dogs absolutely love it, and it’s especially useful for owners struggling with low food motivation, medication, or dogs who need something extra special outdoors.
