I’ve always loved Danbury Common. From here, you’ll walk through a quiet section of residential (it’s worth it) to get to Little Baddow Heath woods. Then take in the splendour of Ling Wood, before heading back to the common.
You will be greeted with a lovely view to end on and I’m not just talking about the pub. Treat yourself to a pint though, they are dog friendly and you have earned it. Free parking at the start.
