Terms & Conditions

Please have a good read through each section, as it will contain important information:

General – Please read, as applicable to ALL services
  • Please note, all home visits and packages are payable in full, by cash only, on the day of your visit.  All services are non-refundable or transferable once paid.
  • If you have a morning appointment/class, please only feed your pup 25% of their breakfast if they are under eighteen weeks and no breakfast if they are over eighteen weeks.  Please do not feed any pup/dog diner if you have an evening appointment/class.
  • For your convenience, any equipment, toys and treats used or suggested will all be available to purchase at home or during class  – each product is hand selected, please just ask.
  • Ensure your dog has a well fitted collar, prior to arrival
  • By booking any service you give consent for any photos/videos of yourself/dog/guests taken or sent to be used by HPDT.
  • IMPORTANT: Please add the HPDT email address in to your email contacts to ensure future emails with attachments will not go into your junk/spam folder.
Home Sessions
  • You will be given a window for arrival between an agreed period of time.  This does not reflect the session duration.  Session location will vary which will vary arrival times.  If you have a time slot over four hours, where possible you may receive a more accurate estimated time of arrival on the day.  If you would like a more accurate ETA, please send a short text before 08:00 on the day of your appointment.  If you need a specific time, this can be catered for, but you may incur mileage costs.
  • Bookings are grouped to ensure mileage is under ten miles where possible.  Mileage is charged at £0.40 per mile from CM18 when out of area.  You will be advised if your appointment is out of area at the time of your inquiry.
  • Please state when booking whether you would like an hour session for £60 or an hour and a half session for £80 when booking.
  • Due to limited spaces, if you would like to rearrange or cancel your personal booking, please allow 72hrs notice.  To rearrange your booking under 72hrs notice, you may incur a charge.
  • Prior to arrival if you could have your pup/dog secured in another room and provide a place where we can sit at a table, this would be ideal.
Packages
  • If you are booking the Platinum package, you will automatically be enrolled on to the next available High School course.  If you should not wish this, please advise in advance, as it will not be possible to move courses after your home visit.
  • Each package includes a one hour home visit.  You can upgrade to a hour and a half home visit for just £20 extra.  If you would like to have the additional time, please advise this when booking.
Group Classes
  • Classes are payable in advance and only secured once payment has been processed and confirmed.
  • Places are on a first come first serve basis.  Due to limited places, it is your responsibility to attend each course/session, as no refunds will be given for any missed course/class, regardless of injury or illness to the owner or pet.
  • Owners are asked to make contact prior to class if you are to miss a session or if your pet has a condition that may be contagious.
  • HPDT reserves the right to change class dates/times/locations where necessary.
  • The owner agrees to take full responsibility for their pet’s actions.  The owner will keep their pup/dog on the lead at all times, or held by the collar, unless under instruction.
  • The owner will clean up after their pet immediately if any accidents should happen while on the premises or surrounding area and dispose of any rubbish in the appropriate place.
  • The owner will help to ensure the hall is kept and left clean & tidy.  This includes putting any rubbish in the bin and making sure the floor is kept dry & clean at all times.
  • The owner will accept full responsibility for any damage made to the premises and full liability should he/she/guests/pet be injured in any way. The owner accepts full responsibility and liability for their dogs health, safety and wellbeing, including any medical treatment that may follow.
  •  Children are welcome on the condition they are quiet, under control and supervised.
